How eligibility, feedback, and Guild membership work — and what we expect in return for the access artists' credits give you. Last drafted for internal review — wording pending final sign-off.
Curator access requires your playlist(s) to clear a minimum follower count, currently configurable by the platform and shown at signup. We track follower counts on an ongoing basis rather than taking a one-time number at face value — this protects both you (a stale number never locks you out of growth) and artists (a curator's standing reflects reality). If a count can't be confirmed or jumps in a way that looks statistically implausible, it's flagged for review instead of being applied automatically — you won't be wrongly deactivated over a data hiccup, but you also won't be activated on an unverified spike.
Pitches land in your Inbox and move through Listening, Approved, Scheduled, and Shared as you work through them. There's no hard SLA, but artists are spending real credits on your attention — leaving pitches sitting indefinitely erodes trust in the platform for everyone. Aim to clear your Inbox regularly.
Every approval or rejection asks for a rating across four dimensions — mix quality, arrangement, originality, and commercial viability — plus written feedback. This isn't busywork: it's what artists are actually paying for, and it directly builds your feedback quality reputation shown on your public profile. Generic or copy-pasted feedback is easy to spot and undermines the reason artists chose Playlist Raid over a cold DM.
Artists must disclose whether a track is AI-generated on every pitch. Set your own profile preference — accept, don't accept, or no preference — from your dashboard; it's shown to artists before they pitch, and enforced automatically if you've marked “don't accept.”
If you suspect an UNDISCLOSED submission is AI-generated, use the “Flag as AI Generated” button on the pitch card — separate from the artist's own disclosure. It's immediately removed from your inbox and routed to admin review; you don't need to confront the artist yourself. Confirmed violations result in the artist being banned and forfeiting their remaining credits.
Any active curator with at least 10,000 combined followers can found a Guild; anyone else can request to join one, subject to leader approval. Guild rank — Novice through Master — is calculated automatically from members, playlists, and combined followers, and caps how much the Guild can charge per raid pitch. Raid pitches split 80% to the Guild Bank, 20% platform fee; the Guild leader chooses whether payouts to members happen automatically when a track is added to a playlist, or manually at their discretion. Leaders can promote trusted members to Officer.
Incoming raid pitches land with the leader, who accepts a pitch for their own playlist, passes it to the Guild Pool for any member to independently pick up, or rejects it. Leaders can delegate pass-to-pool authority to up to two Officers.
If you publish a Marketplace listing, keep pricing current and only include an estimated streams range if you can reasonably back it with your own Track Record. Listings are explicitly labeled as estimates, never guarantees — don't word your description in a way that implies otherwise.
Artists can report a submitted result or a review for abuse. Reports go to the same admin queue used for AI-flagged pitches — a person reviews each one, not an algorithm. Confirmed violations on your side (falsified data, abusive conduct) can result in content removal, account restrictions, or a ban depending on severity.
