What to expect from Playlist Raid, and what we expect from you. Last drafted for internal review — wording pending final sign-off.
Every pitch requires you to disclose whether the track is AI-generated — there's no default, you have to choose. Curators and Guilds set their own policy (accept, don't accept, or no preference), visible on their profile before you pitch; the system won't let you submit to someone who's marked “don't accept” if you've disclosed AI involvement.
What we don't tolerate is dishonesty: submitting undisclosed AI-generated music. Curators can flag a suspected undisclosed submission; the moment they do, it's hidden from their inbox and sent to our admin queue for review. Confirmed violations result in a permanent ban and forfeiture of any remaining credit balance.
Playlist Raid is a trust-based platform. We do what we reasonably can — tracking follower counts on an ongoing basis, flagging statistically implausible jumps, and running every report through a real admin — but we can't independently verify every claim a curator or Guild makes about themselves. Before you spend credits, use what's available to you:
Platform vetting is a floor, not a substitute for your own judgment.
When you pitch, you're paying for a curator's genuine listen and real feedback — not a guaranteed placement. Credits spent on a pitch are not refunded if the curator passes. This is the same model as the rest of the industry: curators are compensated for their time and expertise regardless of the outcome, which is what keeps feedback honest instead of rubber-stamped.
If a curator approves your track, you'll be prompted to report results a couple weeks after placement — streams gained, a required screenshot from your own Spotify for Artists dashboard as proof, and an optional note on how the experience went. This data builds the public Track Record on curator and Guild profiles and feeds the platform Leaderboard. Submitting fabricated numbers or a doctored screenshot is treated the same as any other integrity violation — it can result in a ban.
After a completed placement, you can rate and review the curator or Guild — star rating plus written feedback. Review honestly. Reviews are public and factor into a curator or Guild's reputation, so keep them specific and fair. Anyone can report a review for abuse; reported reviews go to admin review the same way flagged pitches and results do.
Every flagging mechanism on Playlist Raid — AI-generated music, a suspicious result, an abusive review — routes to the same admin review queue. An admin evaluates the report and can remove the offending content, and in serious or repeated cases, ban the account and forfeit its remaining credit balance. We don't auto-resolve reports algorithmically; a person looks at every one.
